Oh What a Night!

Yorktown Square came alive on Friday night with the first of a series of Night Markets. From start to finish, people swarmed in to check out the family friendly event that is bound to be an ongoing success. The square was abuzz with local musicians, food & wine stalls and a good representation of wares from central shops.
The attendance was outstanding and such a credit to Vanessa Cahoon and the Team at Cityprom.
People will forgive the long lineups for food and drink as it really was an unexpected but highly welcomed turnout. Nevertheless everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the night ran smoothly & happily.
Any comments &/or suggestions will be warmly welcomed to ensure the next night market, scheduled for Friday 30th October, will continue to grow & cater for the crowd.
