Best Coffee in Launceston
The results are in and the clear winner is ... AMELIA ESPRESSO ... George St.
Launceston is quite spoilt for a choice of coffee spots. The café culture here is expanding at a steady rate of knots.
Amelia Espresso, continually features on the 'best coffee in Launceston' list. Actually, not only on the list, always at the TOP of the list. It was no surprise when tallying up the votes to see that Amelia takes out top spot yet again. In a resounding second position, is Sweetbrew, a Paris-inspired patisserie and espresso bar. Also located in George St., Sweetbrew is a relative newcomer to the scene and is enjoying accolades from both locals and tourists alike.

Café Mondello and Croplines take third and fourth places respectively with a three way tie for fifth place runners up, Inside Cafe, Shots on Wax & PX Tapas. This was such a tight contest, with Kudos & Up York both coming in closely behind.
This lighthearted poll was intended for the Launceston central town area, but despite that, people were quick to include their favourite suburban spots. In fact, Seven Monks at Kings Meadows, would have slotted into third place if the choices extended beyond the city.
Gigi (East Launceston), the Tower Café (East Launceston) Café Culture (Trevallyn) and Phoenix & the Wolf (Perth) also rated high mentions.
