What's the Latest on the Northern Tasmania Food Scene?
A popular eatery, Minh Buu was the only restaurant in Launceston to offer yum cha. An easy changeover saw Joyce Chinese Cuisine open the doors without a batter of an eyelid.
Keeping the menu very similar, with slight changes, Joyce thankfully will be serving yum cha on Sundays. JOYCE CHINESE CUISINE

Golden Brumby re-opened after a short closure (ex. Hoong Fatt Margaret St.) WHAT'S COMING? Two newbies yet to open but something to look forward to: Geronimo's - Bar & Restaurant at the ex. Xerox building in Charles St. - not sure of the opening date but will update when more is known. The Dumpling Factory & Sushi Workshop - looking forward to this one - in Invermay Rd., next to Black Forest Smallgoods.
