Tamar Cove
Beauty Point is exactly that, a beautiful point near the end of the West Tamar River, approx. 45 mins. from Launceston. Tamar Cove, accommodation w/ restaurant, enjoys a view, unfortunately not the river but nonetheless it's very serene (the river front is just around the corner). A varied menu is offered here and with great food & service, you're virtually guaranteed a pleasurable time. Our favourite light lunch is featured here - home made pizza & a local fresh tiger prawn bucket doesn't fail to impress.
